Bringing the Festivals to Life

San Marcos "Holly Jolly” Holiday Market

  • the holly jolly holiday market is one of san marcos’s biggest and most festive community events, bringing thousands of families together to shop local, enjoy holiday entertainment, and celebrate the season. i led all marketing and creative efforts for the event, making sure the entire experience felt magical, welcoming, and true to our community.

i developed and executed the full marketing campaign, created branded graphics and visual themes, and managed all digital content across social media, email, and the event website. i coordinated vendor promotion, designed print and digital ads, and partnered with media outlets to increase visibility. i also provided live event coverage through instagram stories, on-site photography, and real-time updates that showcased the energy and charm of the day.

from branding and design to digital strategy and community storytelling, i ensured the holiday market reached the right audiences, supported our vendors, and delivered a memorable experience for everyone who attended.

  • a special part of the holly jolly holiday market is “rescue row,” where local animal rescues get to share their missions, showcase adoptable pets, and fundraise for the holidays. i created dedicated content to highlight each rescue, share their stories, and encourage the community to stop by their booths. through social posts, email features, and on-site coverage, i helped increase visibility for rescue partners and supported their efforts to find homes, raise awareness, and connect with animal lovers in san marcos.

San Marcos Harvest Festival

  • harvest fest is one of san marcos’s largest and most beloved community events, bringing together thousands of attendees, 250 vendors, live music, kids activities, and a full day of fall fun. i led the marketing and creative direction for the event, helping shape the look, feel, and visibility of the festival both online and throughout the city.

i created the full brand kit and visual identity, designed the event website, and managed all digital content for social media and email marketing. i developed a complete campaign strategy that included vendor spotlights, paid meta ads, community-focused messaging, and partnerships with local media outlets. i also designed print and digital advertising, coordinated signage needs, and provided on-site photo and story coverage during the event.

our marketing efforts drove strong community engagement and impressive traffic to the event website. in the week leading up to harvest fest, the site reached more than 15,000 visits, helping vendors gain visibility and encouraging families to plan their day.

from brand design to real-time content, i ensured harvest fest felt vibrant, cohesive, and well-loved by the san marcos community.

  • live music is a huge part of the holly jolly holiday market, and i made sure our bands and performers got the spotlight they deserved. i created promotional graphics, social posts, and schedule announcements that highlighted each artist and helped build excitement leading up to event day. from sharing sneak peeks and soundbites to featuring them in our email newsletters, my goal was to introduce the community to new local talent and ensure attendees knew when and where to catch each performance. on event day, i captured live content to showcase the festive energy and support our musicians even further.
